Your order is placed — nothing else is needed from you but these numbers. Every SuitedNoir suit is cut for one person only, so this form is the pattern. Set aside fifteen minutes and ask someone to help.

When will you wear it? Leave blank if there's no date.

Cutting takes 15 days from confirmed measurements, plus about a week of shipping — 3–4 weeks in total. Your event date lets us schedule the cut and tell you straight away if the timing is tight.

Six rules that decide the fit

A soft cloth tape measureNot a builder's tape. String against a ruler works if you have neither.
Someone to helpMeasuring yourself twists the torso and distorts almost every number.
A fitted shirtMeasure over a thin dress shirt, never over a jumper or jacket.
Breathe out and stop thereDon't hold your breath, pull your stomach in or push your chest out.
Snug, never tightYou should be able to slide two fingers flat under the tape.
Keep the tape levelAll the way round — have your helper check the back.
Do not add anything for comfort. Give us your true body measurements — the room a suit needs is built into the pattern by our cutters, and a suit measured "with a bit extra" comes back too big every time. Measure everything twice; if the two readings disagree, take a third and write down the middle one.

The numbers

A line drawn around the figure is measured all the way round; a line drawn along it is a length. Work top to bottom — your helper takes the reading, you stay still and breathe normally. Tap any measurement to see where it goes.

We cross-check every form within one working day. If anything looks inconsistent we'll ask you to retake that one measurement — normal, not a problem.
Cutting begins once confirmed: 15 days to a finished suit, then about a week to your door.
