Silk blended into suiting adds lustre without the fragility of pure silk. The surface picks up light softly, which photographs well and reads as refinement rather than flash. The hand is cool, fluid and faintly slippery, with a low sheen that shifts rather than shines, and it follows the body rather than imposing a shape on it. The sheen is subtle in daylight and pronounced under flash — worth knowing if the day involves a photographer.

Dry clean only. Silk marks with water and the marks set.
Styling this colour
A natural mid-green that shifts with the light, which places it daytime and semi-formal. Pair it with white or cream. For footwear, brown, tan, or oxblood. For neckwear, rust, gold, cream. It is at its best in daylight. Green photographs well against foliage and stone, which is why it suits outdoor ceremonies.
