Baby Blue Velvet Cocktail Party Suit — Custom Made to Measure
Custom-made for your body and reviewed by a fit specialist before production.
Made for Them. In Their Words.
“The fit was spot-on for my wedding. It looked properly tailored and fit me far better than anything I’d tried off the rack.”
“They actually reviewed my measurements and emailed me to double-check them before making the suit. That gave me a lot of confidence ordering online.”
“I ordered my wedding suit from SuitedNoir and was nervous about doing the measurements myself. They checked everything before production, and when the suit arrived the fit was extremely close right out of the box.”
“The fabric and finishing were much better than I expected from ordering online. The suit feels substantial, the details are clean, and it looks genuinely custom when I wear it.”
“My suit arrived in about three weeks and looked exactly as expected. For me, buying a custom suit was absolutely worth it compared with renting.”
“I wanted a black velvet tuxedo with wider lapels and a few details I couldn’t find in stores. They made it the way I asked, and the whole process felt much more personal than buying a standard tuxedo.”

Made-to-measure fit without traditional bespoke complexity.
Off-the-rack makes you fit the suit; we build the suit to fit you — every seam cut from your measurements. That’s the difference you see the moment you put it on:
Off the rack
- ✕ Sleeves off, boxy chest
- ✕ Trouser break wrong
- ✕ Waist loose, no shape
- ✕ Alterations often required
SuitedNoir
- ✓ Balanced shoulder line
- ✓ Proper sleeve length
- ✓ Clean trouser line
- ✓ Built right the first time
Standard sizes. Alterations often required.
Multiple in-person fittings. A longer process.
Made to your measurements, reviewed remotely, approximately 3–4 weeks. Fit certainty, no fitting room.
The six things everyone wants to know.
Will it fit?
It’s cut from your measurements and reviewed by a fit specialist before production. If the fit needs attention on arrival, contact us before arranging any changes so our team can review it under the Perfect Fit Guarantee. Third-party alteration costs are not reimbursed.
When will I receive it?
Production is 10–15 days, then free tracked shipping — about 3–4 weeks to your door in the US. Enter your event date and we’ll confirm timing first.
What happens after I order?
You don’t enter measurements at checkout. After purchase we email an illustrated form; once you submit it, a specialist reviews it, then production begins.
What if my measurements are wrong?
That’s why a real person reviews them first — we contact you if anything looks off before cutting. Fit support continues after delivery.
Is this a real company?
Yes — SuitedNoir, reachable at info@suitednoir.com, with published policies and a bespoke advisor you can speak with directly.
Why is it worth the price?
Compare it to bespoke tailoring, not fast fashion: a suit cut for your body, specialist-reviewed, delivered without weeks of fittings.
Your suit, made to your measure.

How this cloth behaves
Velvet's raised pile catches and holds light, so the colour shifts as you move and reads far deeper under artificial light than in daylight. That is precisely why it belongs to the evening. The hand is dense, soft and directional — run a hand one way and the pile lies flat, the other and it stands up, and it falls with weight rather than structure, hanging heavily and fluidly. Velvet in daylight can look theatrical. It is an evening cloth and rarely flatters a daytime ceremony.
Care
Never press. Steam vertically with the garment hanging, and store on a wide hanger with space either side.
Styling this colour
A clear mid-blue, lighter and warmer than navy, which places it daytime and semi-formal. Pair it with white, or a deeper blue tonally. For footwear, brown or tan; black for formal. For neckwear, navy, burgundy, or patterned. It is at its best in daylight. Mid blue reads friendlier than navy and holds up well in photographs.
Wearing it
Cocktail dress sits between business and formal, usually indoors and usually in the evening. It is the setting where texture earns its keep. Avoid full business formality — it reads as though you came from the office.
